I'm not one to give in depth detailed reviews that go into the story line, plot points and reveal things that the reader should find out on their own. I don't want to spoil anyone's journey. That being said, this story is a trip worth taking. If you love Vikings and days of ole, you will want to read the Norseman's Revenge.I love how the author lets you into both the hero and heroine's points of views. It makes the emotional ride that much more rewarding for the reader. Norseman's Revenge (The Norsemen Sagas Book 1)I'm looking forward to reading more of this series.
I felt as though this was mostly an erotic novel and the plot was secondary. While I liked the characters and I found the story entertaining, I never got emotionally involved in their lives. I never really learned enough about them to care. The story mostly takes place in the moment except for a few events that explain current behaviors. We know very little of the characters childhoods, so while they are developed to some degree, it never gets too deep. Most of what takes place is of a sexual nature, which was pretty steamy and fun, but not enough for me to consider this more than a three star read.
I typically read murder mysteries and needed a break from that genre. I thoroughly enjoyed the romance, story line and characters. I found myself reading through this novel very quickly. The historical research of the time period is evident and added to the interest of this reader. At the end, I wanted more - so looking forward to the next Norseman Saga that I'm saving for vacation. Will definitely be checking out the rest of the work from this author whose content is unique and creative.
3.5 It lagged in the middle. I almost put it down. The ending picked it back up. There was a lot of angst
I wanted to like this book so much more than I did, but halfway through the cruel treatment started feeling more like abuse than actual punishment. I made it all the way through because aside from that it was a good book
Good character development, good story line....a little too kinky for my preference, but all in all, a good read....
This was pretty good. I liked the H and h. They had great sexual chemistry. I did not like the inclusion of the brother, hence the 3 stars.
